Pickled Red Onions

Slice Red Onion
Place in colander

Optional:​

  • Pour boiling water over them (This takes some of the sharp taste away)

Pickling Base:​

  • 2 parts apple cider vinegar
  • 1 part water
  • Good amount of salt
  • Good amount of sugar

Flavorings:​

  • A few bay leaves
  • Peppercorns
  • Gloves of garlic

Notes:​

  • With my current Jars I use
    • 16oz apple cider vinegar
    • 8oz water
    • 30g sugar
    • 10g salt
